This is my second try this week at painting this red onion. The first one was a "no show", so this is an improvement... but I still need more practice... I kind of like the light side, but I'm not crazy about the shadow side.
I like the onion colors and the background colors. I like the shadow cast by the onion, but I'm not so sure about the shadow cast by the peel in front. It's sharper and the color is different.

Hey, you tried it again and it worked really well! I tried a dried chile pepper and it was awful. I'm frustrated.
The oranges are nice too, Jan
