- I grew up in Quebec and since August 2011 I live in Mahopac, NY with my husband, two cats and one dog.J'ai grandi au Québec et depuis le mois d'aout 2011 je demeure a Mahopac, New-York avec mon mari Ken, nos deux chats (Shiner et Kashmir) et un chien (Maple).I paint in oil and in pastel. I occasionally do wood burning and wood sculpture as well.

There are lots of nice things about this painting, Johanne. The composition, the brushstrokes, and the colors are all great.
Looks like you are using more definite strokes. I like these cherry paintings.
