Workshop with Qiang Huang - #2

I wanted to see Qiang paint a rose. We didn't have any roses around but had plenty of wildflowers. He made it look SO easy. I thought I would give it a try. It was not easy, but I'm happy with the result.

Oil on canvas 10 x 8"

Very, very nice, Johanne. It seems to me that the straight edges in the background set off the wildflowers perfectly. Qiang Huang has had a most positive effect.

Actually, it not so much staight lines in the background but the randomness of them. Anyway, I join you in liking it - a lot!

Another good painting! I especially like the reflection on the cloth. The flowers are beautifully painted.

You painted this so well. I like the contrasts and the shadow/reflection. Nicely done. :)
