Oil study #175: It's Going to be a Good Day
Although I painted this one from a reference picture, I struggled quite a bit with the clouds. I almost gave up on it three times. And it took me about 4 hours to paint which is an hour over my usual limit in time, energy and inspiration for this size of painting. But overall I'm glad I kept going.

Johanne, you certaibnly have been busy of late with all these oils. I love the new subject matter too, we all need to challenge ourselves, keeps life interesting huh?
