Oil study #182

I find it more difficult to do plein air with the temperature in the triple digits here in Austin. So I stay inside. Here is a still life where I got inspired by onions. The red color of the two small ones turned out to be a challenge.

Oil on canvas panel, 6 x 6"

Nice work, Johanne. I really like the shadow falling across the painting.

Triple digits. Yikes!
Great picture, though. and the color of the red onion is perfect.

Johanne I love the brushstrokes. It reminds me Carol Marine a bit.

Donna, I'll take as a compliment (although I'm not trying to imitate her style), thanks!
