Morning Mist in Putnam County, Oil, 11 x 14"

I drive every day by this bridge and I always find the bridge reflection and light interesting... in mid-March it was warm enough for me to go out and take pictures (I'm a wuss when it comes to cold weather :-) It was a bright and sunny day, but at some point the painting was "asking" for some mist in the distant trees. So I went for it. Does it looks like mist to you?

I'm pretty happy with the overall effect of light in this one.

It absolutely looks like mist! And you have the reflections done beautifully.

Excellent, Johanne. I love the subtlety of this.

This is one of my all-time favorites. I love the mist and everything else about it.

Thanks Bob, Jo & BJ.

Jo, I'm glad you noticed, because I'm working on that (not everything so much in your face)...

BJ, until the next one, I hope ;-)
