Pastel: Summer on the Rideau River

I'm pretty happy with this one considering the amount of green in it :) The reference picture was taken during my last trip to Canada. It is a small and very charming town close to Ottawa called Manotick.

Pastel on primed mat board, 8 x 10"

Johanne, I love this piece! My favorite part is where you can see the strokes of the primed board beneath the blue water. It's just beautiful!
